Global Star, Charley Hull, Confirmed for the 2025 KPMG Women’s Irish Open
Global Golf star, Charley Hull, has been confirmed to play in the 2025 KPMG Women’s Irish Open, taking place on the O’Meara Course at Carton House, Fairmont from 3rd – 6th July. The English golf star, Olympian and seven-time Solheim Cup participant will bring a new level of competitiveness to the field.
Hull, who has claimed six career wins across the LPGA and LET and secured 81 top 10 finishes in her professional career, is a fan favourite and will be one to watch throughout the week. A victory at the KPMG Women’s Irish Open would be a great addition to her already impressive resume and grow her already significant Irish fan base.
Charley Hull said: ‘I’ve heard so many good things about the KPMG Women’s Irish Open and I can’t wait to play. This will be my first Professional event in Ireland since I turned Pro in 2013, and it seems like the perfect event to mark this occasion.
I look forward to experiencing Carton House and to meet the huge number of Irish fans that I have heard support this event so well - I am very excited to see you all soon!’
Seamus Hand of KPMG said: ‘The addition of Charley Hull to the field will take the event to a new level this year. To watch her play alongside Leona Maguire and the new Solheim Cup captain, Anna Nordqvist will be incredible. We are extremely proud to be title sponsor of this event, and it has been our goal to continue building this event and having a stronger field year on year. It has been fantastic to watch the event go from strength to strength each year and watch the continued rise of female golf in Ireland.’
KPMG has championed the KPMG Women’s Irish Open since 2022, when they took on the title sponsorship and brought the competition back to life after a decade-long hiatus. The tournament, staged by ForeFront Group, is now one of Europe’s biggest women's golfing showcases (winning Tournament of the Year in 2024, voted by the Ladis European Tour players) and has attracted nearly 100,000 attendees and a global audience of over 100+ million since 2022.
Eimear McManus, CMO of ForeFront Group, said: ‘Charley Hull joining the 2025 KPMG Women’s Irish Open is an exciting addition to an already stellar field. With her impressive record, she’ll bring even more energy and competition to the event.
As the promoters and stagers of this event for the past four years, we have worked extremely hard alongside KPMG and our other partners to grow this event year-on-year, and we are so proud to say that this will be the best KPMG Women’s Irish Open yet.’
Hull joins a strong field of competitors that includes her Solheim Cup teammates, Leona Maguire, Georgia Hall, Madelene Sagström and the 2026 captain Anna Nordqvist. Defending champion, Annabel Dimmock will return to the event to defend her title alongside the World amateur number 1 ranked golfer, Lottie Woad.
A record-breaking field of players is set for Carton House and the 2025 KPMG Women’s Irish Open promises to be one of the most competitive events on the calendar. The event will take place from 3rd – 6th July at Carton House, Fairmont and will be an event not to be missed as Annabel Dimmock will look to repeat her win at the Kildare based venue.
