Hiscox Ireland, the award-winning Specialist Home and Business insurers, are proud to be named the Official Insurance Partner of the 2025 KPMG Women’s Irish Open.
With 32 offices across 14 countries, including Dublin, Hiscox employs over 3000 staff globally, and this announcement marks a second investment into women’s golf in Ireland, after their debut at last year’s tournament at Carton House.
Richard O’Dwyer, Managing Director of Hiscox Ireland, expressed his excitement as the 2025 edition comes into sight: “We were thrilled to be a part of last year’s event, which welcomed a record-breaking 37,000 spectators on course, and many more watching at home.
“Annabel Dimmock’s playoff win was an enthralling watch, and we are delighted to have Irish pro Lauren Walsh take part in our promotional video this year, especially given her stellar rise in 2025.
“Social Media star Eric Roberts plays her bumbling caddy in our ‘Bad Caddy’ video, a humorous tale that highlights how Hiscox can give Irish businesses a Mulligan - in our own unique style.
“We expect more accomplished golf (& caddies!) at the O’Meara course next month, and Hiscox Ireland wishes all competitors the very best - especially Lauren!”
Cian Branagan, CEO of ForeFront group, said: ““We are delighted to welcome back renowned insurance specialists Hiscox as the Official Insurance Partner of the KPMG Women’s Irish Open for a second consecutive year.
Their continued support as a valued sponsor is vital to the event’s success - with a well-established presence in both Ireland and the UK, we are proud to once again be working alongside the Hiscox team for this year’s tournament at Carton House and building on the success of last year’s event.”
The KPMG Women’s Irish Open will take place at an earlier date this year, kicking off on July 3, at Carton House’s renowned O’Meara Course. Olympians and Solheim Cup stars Charley Hull, Georgia Hall, Madelene Sagström and Anna Nordqvist have been confirmed as star players in the field. Irish Star, Leona Maguire will return to the event after securing a top 15 finish in last year’s event
The elite field of female golfers will be competing for a prize fund of €450,000 as they try to claim Dimmock’s 2024 title.
